SaMBaS's Huub Sijmonds played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diderik Reis in the 52nd minute of play. Huub Sijmonds showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diderik Reis in the 53rd minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Middele got a freekick which was hit by Dave Meyer. After 58 minutes of play, S.C. SaMBaS's Izaak Kroon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When Middele's Sjaak Genkenaar, in the 73rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Middele. In the 75th match minute, S.C. SaMBaS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Eising to maneuver through the defense.
