Marco Snoeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Stolte having to interfere. Bram Hoogsteen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis de Zaaijer in the 28th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Wolde SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter van den Eede to maneuver through the defense. Hans Stolte had great luck who in the 35thth minute grab hold of the ball when Marco Snoeks from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After some careless play in the Wolde SV defense, Ryan Pilage kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hans Stolte. The Wolde SV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hans Stolte should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of FC Doorn:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wolde SV:s goal. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Wolde SV. Erik van der Schans stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bram Hoogsteen. 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jasper van der Woude stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Doorn's Marco Snoeks got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Ryan Pilage left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Doorn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper van der Woude in the 57th minute of play forced FC Doorn's goalkeeper Bram Hoogsteen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Marco Snoeks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Stolte was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. When Marco Snoeks came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Doorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Snoeks couldn't finish the play. Marco Snoeks struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Hans Stolte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Doorn. Marco Snoeks's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Stolte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marnix Brans during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Wolde SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marnix Brans to maneuver through the defense. The shot was stopped by Bram Hoogsteen but with some difficulty. In the 96th minute, Marco Snoeks made a precise shot to the right of Hans Stolte. Wolde SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. There was no doubt that FC Doorn were the better team. FC Doorn's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
