Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rinus Carel started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folker Cramer in the 3rd minute of play forced Schrapsveen VV's goalkeeper Steven Timmerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Folker Cramer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Meder made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Marcel van Veldhuizen sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Rinus Carel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schrapsveen VV's supporters rose to their feet, but Rinus Carel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik Meder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hendrik Meder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel van Veldhuizen in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Swichum Excelsior's zone, Marcel van Veldhuizen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrik Meder came out of the goal and Marcel van Veldhuizen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rinus Carel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Hendrik Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel van Veldhuizen struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Hendrik Meder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schrapsveen VV. Marcel van Veldhuizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hendrik Meder having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rinus Carel in the 20th minute of play forced Swichum Excelsior's goalkeeper Hendrik Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Folker Cramer came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Swichum Excelsior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folker Cramer couldn't finish the play. In the 29thth minute of the game Folker Cramer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schrapsveen VV's Steven Timmerman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Schrapsveen VV booed when Swichum Excelsior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Vervoort didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the game's 31st minute Schrapsveen VV's Oliver Lyle took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Hendrik Meder and thus the score was 1-0. Folker Cramer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Steven Timmerman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Folker Cramer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swichum Excelsior's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folker Cramer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bram Wessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Meder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rinus Carel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Folker Cramer made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Mickael Ijksma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hendrik Meder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel van Veldhuizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Rinus Carel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hendrik Meder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcel van Veldhuizen came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Schrapsveen VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel van Veldhuizen couldn't finish the play. Schrapsveen VV's Steven Timmerman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Schrapsveen VV from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Schrapsveen VV's goalkeeper Steven Timmerman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Dost. Timo Pals fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Timmerman having to interfere. If Fabiën Stroeve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Schrapsveen VV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
