Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. AfgFC's Mike Tamminga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Deuring in the 11th minute of play. Stef Perk scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerard Jochemsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stef Perk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Berend Buskermolen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mike Tamminga. Berend Buskermolen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a little luck, AfgFC's Mike Tamminga got control of the ball when Stephan de Hoop tried to sneak it across the goal line. AfgFC's Mike Tamminga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berend Buskermolen in the 42nd minute of play. Gerard Jochemsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stef Perk in the 47th minute of the match.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerard Ros during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Vlissingen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerard Ros to maneuver through the defense. Timmie Bruintjes stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Vlissingen's defenders and the ball went out. AfgFC appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. If Timmie Bruintjes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes, Vlissingen's Koen Spiering shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mike Tamminga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vlissingen reached it.
