Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But to his dismay, Pieter Tinge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 8 minutes, Philip van Zaanen made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Breezand's Christijan Werner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pieter Tinge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Alwin Franssen made a huge save. In the 14th minute Jouke Beishuizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christijan Werner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Philip van Zaanen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pieter Tinge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 22 minutes, Tjeerd de Visscher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV wippolder and the Breezand players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute of the match, Hans-Cees Wekenburg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alwin Franssen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 25 minutes SV wippolder's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harris Bogaard who took care of the corner kick. Harris Bogaard made a great header on Breezand's corner, it was just that SV wippolder's Alwin Franssen managed to reach the ball for a save. Philip van Zaanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 32 minutes, Philip van Zaanen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV wippolder's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip van Zaanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Jouke Beishuizen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christijan Werner was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Pieter Tinge's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Alwin Franssen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Jouke Beishuizen came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SV wippolder fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jouke Beishuizen couldn't finish the play. Philip van Zaanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Christijan Werner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Philip van Zaanen to make the kick off. Pieter Tinge's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alwin Franssen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SV wippolder's zone, Pieter Tinge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alwin Franssen came out of the goal and Pieter Tinge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd match minute, Breezand was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieter Tinge to maneuver through the defense. Christijan Werner didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. After 74 minutes of play, Breezand's Pieter Tinge made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alwin Franssen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jouke Beishuizen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Christijan Werner when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Jouke Beishuizen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
