If Jaap Bouwman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tom Peppinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Bouwens having to interfere. In the 19th minute Besthmen V.V. were awarded a corner. Jan-Joost Rolink went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan-Joost Rolink made a great header on Besthmen V.V.'s corner, it was just that Terheijl S.C.'s Roeland Teuws managed to reach the ball for a save. Besthmen V.V.'s Jaap Bouwman got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roeland Teuws came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Besthmen V.V.'s Jan Saanen. But to his dismay, Jan Saanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Tom Peppinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Bouwens having to interfere. Roeland Teuws stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaap Bouwman's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Jan Saanen made a precise shot to the right of Roeland Teuws. Terheijl S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Roeland Teuws showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaap Bouwman in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Gijsbert Zandstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 46 minutes, Jaap Bouwman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Besthmen V.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaap Bouwman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tom Peppinck made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jan Saanen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Besthmen V.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jan Saanen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roeland Teuws breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Terheijl S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jan Saanen came free, but Roeland Teuws reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Rein Kort managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terheijl S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rein Kort was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andreas Bouwens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andreas Bouwens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Peppinck's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Jaap Bouwman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Roeland Teuws when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tom Peppinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Andreas Bouwens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Jan Saanen took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Roeland Teuws to make any attempt to save it. Terheijl S.C.'s Roeland Teuws played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaap Bouwman in the 71st minute of play. Jan Saanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Roeland Teuws tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Bouwens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Peppinck in the 78th minute of play. Rein Kort recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Godfried Asselbergs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Besthmen V.V.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Terheijl S.C. the free kick. Dick Sloothaak hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jaap Bouwman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Roeland Teuws tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaap Bouwman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roeland Teuws read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Terheijl S.C.'s Co Blank got a free kick in the 94th minute. Jaap Bouwman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
