In the 2nd minute of the match Leendert Nijhof sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gert Hartogh skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Thomas Ritsma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kokkelert Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Thomas Ritsma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gert Hartogh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evert Zandberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anton Lubbers's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. If Alfred Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Holt might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gert Hartogh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Holt ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Dos 19 booed when Kokkelert Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Seedorf didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Anton Lubbers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kokkelert Eendracht's Evert Zandberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evert Zandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Lubbers in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Dos 19's Huib van der Schans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Zandberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kokkelert Eendracht's Evert Zandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Lubbers in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Kokkelert Eendracht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan de Groot to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes Kokkelert Eendracht's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mike Zegeling who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Dos 19 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gooitzen Zoolingen hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Huib van der Schans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evert Zandberg was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Kokkelert Eendracht's Evert Zandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Lubbers in the 40th minute of play. Jan de Groot hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Huib van der Schans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niels-Jan Lindenbergh kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Evert Zandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Lubbers in the 44th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Egbert Iemberge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Alfred Holt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Evert Zandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huib van der Schans in the 53rd minute. When Jan de Groot fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kokkelert Eendracht's protests and gave Jan de Groot a yellow card for diving instead. Evert Zandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Lubbers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kokkelert Eendracht getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jan de Groot hit a great ball. If Thomas Ritsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Zandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Huib van der Schans went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Anton Lubbers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evert Zandberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Kokkelert Eendracht's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anton Lubbers 71 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Evert Zandberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huib van der Schans in the 78th minute. Anton Lubbers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Anton Lubbers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evert Zandberg was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Anton Lubbers struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Evert Zandberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dos 19. When Dos 19's Anton Lubbers in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kokkelert Eendracht's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Dos 19 had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
