In the 9th match minute, Berk SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Damen to maneuver through the defense. Meijel's Steven Bos got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes in the game, Steven Bos dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Meijel's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Brinke came free, but René Adelaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Berk SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willem Oldenborger to maneuver through the defense. Steven Bos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bill Kikkert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Godfried Brinke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berk SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godfried Brinke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. René Adelaar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Berk SC's Bill Kikkert got control of the ball when Steven Bos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruud Teesing sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Steven Bos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruud Teesing in the 35th minute of play forced Berk SC's goalkeeper Bill Kikkert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Berend Klein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfried Brinke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Meijel's zone, Willem Oldenborger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. René Adelaar came out of the goal and Willem Oldenborger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Berend Klein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Meijel's Steven Bos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bill Kikkert. Bill Kikkert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Bill Kikkert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Teesing in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Steven Bos made a precise shot to the right of Bill Kikkert. Berk SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Berend Klein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bill Kikkert having to interfere. Remond Lindenbergh charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remond Lindenbergh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bill Kikkert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Bos in the 74th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Meijel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Godfried Brinke fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 88th minute, Ruud Teesing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Berk SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Teesing came free, but Bill Kikkert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Steven Bos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meijel's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
