Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boukjan Hoiting in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geert van Baarle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Boukjan Hoiting had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, De betuwse superboeren's Boukjan Hoiting nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geert van Baarle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, De betuwse superboeren's Boukjan Hoiting sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geert van Baarle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 24 played minutes FC Miauw got a freekick which was hit by Ab Bodde. Rudolf Bos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Stefano Lammens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefano Lammens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos van Someren in the 29th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jos van Someren took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Stefano Lammens to make any attempt to save it. If Jos van Someren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jelmer Akkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stefano Lammens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos van Someren in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes De betuwse superboeren got a freekick which was hit by Tommie Reitsema. Jos van Someren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Jelmer Akkerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefano Lammens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, De betuwse superboeren's Herman Roewen got a free kick in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jos van Someren to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Jos van Someren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Miauw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jos van Someren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommie Reitsema kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Rudolf Bos came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the FC Miauw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudolf Bos couldn't finish the play. Stefano Lammens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jos van Someren in the 67th minute of play. FC Miauw's Geert van Baarle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boukjan Hoiting in the 70th minute of play. Boukjan Hoiting struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Geert van Baarle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De betuwse superboeren. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jelmer Akkerman during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Miauw's Jelmer Akkerman got a free kick in the 75th minute. Geert van Baarle was a little too slow when Boukjan Hoiting got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 79th match minute, De betuwse superboeren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maikel Meulman to maneuver through the defense. Stefano Lammens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos van Someren in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Miauw's Frederik Brandsma got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard van Rijswijk in the 86th minute of play forced FC Miauw's goalkeeper Geert van Baarle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jelmer Akkerman scored 2-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefano Lammens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Miauw fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when FC Miauw's Rudolf Bos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
