Henk Hoogsteen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 played minutes, FC DaFuggies's Herbert Theunissen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hette van Rooijen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC DaFuggies reached it. Kelvin Trenning charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kelvin Trenning the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience was convinced that Gijs Roodenburg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hette van Rooijen was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 16th minute, Lucien Grasmaaijer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Ottenhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Roordink having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Loet Excelsior's zone, Gijs Roodenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hette van Rooijen came out of the goal and Gijs Roodenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hub Weken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nathan Roordink having to interfere. Hub Weken struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Nathan Roordink didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loet Excelsior. Hub Weken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Michel Mos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the game, Hugo Ottenhof cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Nathan Roordink was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Bruno Thomasse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hette van Rooijen having to interfere. Hub Weken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Nathan Roordink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nathan Roordink showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Ottenhof, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the FC DaFuggies defense, Hub Weken kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nathan Roordink. The FC DaFuggies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nathan Roordink should have stopped the shot. Hugo Ottenhof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loet Excelsior's Hette van Rooijen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijs Roodenburg in the 80th minute of play. FC DaFuggies's Bruno Thomasse got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, FC DaFuggies's Bruno Thomasse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hette van Rooijen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nathan Roordink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hub Weken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Thomasse in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hette van Rooijen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Thomasse got free with Hette van Rooijen in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wouter Keller charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wouter Keller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Wouter Keller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC DaFuggies fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when FC DaFuggies's Gijs Roodenburg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee ended the match the Loet Excelsior players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
