Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joop van Zwam kicked off to start the match. Dimitrie Deuring sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sander Hagenouw came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Steggerden fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sander Hagenouw couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Michael Severijnse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Dimitrie Deuring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wouter Haar kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ronald Hofman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joop van Zwam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 26 minutes, Joop van Zwam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sv OBW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joop van Zwam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th match minute, Steggerden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitrie Deuring to maneuver through the defense. If Sander Hagenouw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harald Kuiper kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, sv OBW's Pieter Bults got a free kick in the 40th minute. Sander Hagenouw struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Rudolf Hof didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steggerden. Michael Severijnse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rudolf Hof read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After 45 minutes, Harald Kuiper mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the sv OBW and the Steggerden players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to sv OBW getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Harald Kuiper hit a great ball. Robin Lamey, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The wind increased when Michael Severijnse made the kick off in the second half. When Wouter Haar came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the sv OBW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wouter Haar couldn't finish the play. Steggerden's Ronald Hofman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wouter Haar in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitrie Deuring in the 62nd minute of play forced sv OBW's goalkeeper Rudolf Hof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, sv OBW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domenik Wieringh to maneuver through the defense. Joop van Zwam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Steggerden's zone, Wouter Haar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Hofman came out of the goal and Wouter Haar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Wouter Haar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Hofman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute of the match Lucas Venema shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronald Hofman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 79th match minute, Steggerden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitrie Deuring to maneuver through the defense. Rudolf Hof had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when Michael Severijnse from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Sander Hagenouw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 93 played minutes, Steggerden's Ben Roelfs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudolf Hof came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Steggerden reached it. The supporters of sv OBW booed when Steggerden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Roelfs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Joop van Zwam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
