Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Terkaple S.V.'s Ramon Beishuizen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maurice Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Hertog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herbert van Gaal in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurice Bernard saved Terkaple S.V. from getting behind. Pascall Spannenburg hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Hans Hertog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Hans Hertog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurice Bernard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert van Gaal in the 23rd minute of play forced Terkaple S.V.'s goalkeeper Maurice Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hans Hertog took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurice Bernard. Maurice Bernard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Maurice Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herbert van Gaal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Hans Hertog's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maurice Bernard was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. After 39 played minutes Terkaple S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Julius Beuneker. Hans Hertog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Maurice Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 played minutes Terkaple S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Casper Hofland. After having played for 44 minutes, Herbert van Gaal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uiteinde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert van Gaal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carsten van Rijswijk fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terkaple S.V.'s protests and gave Carsten van Rijswijk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 49th minute there was a penalty for Uiteinde. Stefano Ruiter stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maurice Bernard. 0-4. The Terkaple S.V. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uiteinde were winning 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Hertog made a kick off. A collision led to Terkaple S.V. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Jordi Zuidema hit a great ball. Uiteinde's Stefano Ruiter shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maurice Bernard but with some difficulty. Uiteinde's Folkert Ranzijn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marick de Jong in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Terkaple S.V.'s Marick de Jong got a free kick in the 68th minute. Hans Hertog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert van Gaal got free with Maurice Bernard in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Gilbert Windmuller in the 77th minute really tested Maurice Bernard's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Folkert Ranzijn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy Gerrits in the 79th minute of play. Herbert van Gaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes in the game, Herbert van Gaal fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maurice Bernard having to interfere. Herbert van Gaal took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurice Bernard. Maurice Bernard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Gido Dirks kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Beishuizen in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folkert Ranzijn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hans Hertog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herbert van Gaal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 99thth minute tested the skills of Maurice Bernard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Uiteinde's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
