After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Nico Meier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Einighausen's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Meier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elroy van Someren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Koen van der Schans made a precise shot to the right of Elroy van Someren. Liesveld's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Daniel Redan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Einighausen getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gijsbert Deijnen hit a great ball. A hard shot by Pascall Carel from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Hendrik Collen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 17th minute, Daniel Redan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 22nd match minute, Einighausen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Meijer to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, Liesveld's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Meier came free, but Elroy van Someren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Redan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Hendrik Collen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liesveld's Elroy van Someren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Meier in the 33rd minute of play. If Firas Al Barrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koen van der Schans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Liesveld's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascall Carel in the 64th minute. The corner ended in Pascall Carel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Einighausen's Hendrik Collen did a great save. A collision led to Liesveld getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Pascall Carel hit a great ball. When Ate Zeijlemaker fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liesveld's protests and gave Ate Zeijlemaker a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Einighausen booed when Liesveld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ate Zeijlemaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Einighausen's Henk-Jan Schophuis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Elroy van Someren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen van der Schans in the 78th minute of play. Nico Meier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Elroy van Someren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erwin Taalman charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erwin Taalman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Liesveld got a freekick which was hit by Erwin Taalman. After having played for 84 minutes, Koen van der Schans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Einighausen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Koen van der Schans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nico Meier was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Firas Al Barrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hendrik Collen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hendrik Collen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Redan, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Einighausen had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
