Wesley Meijering's late challenge caught a Ciao Bellas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wesley Meijering helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ciao Bellas booed when Oeienbraak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wesley Meijering didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Marick Rogaars notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Oeienbraak's Remco Baaijen. In the 28th minute, Marick Rogaars got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciao Bellas's Geale Kruijs got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Geale Kruijs took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remco Baaijen. In the 45th minute, Simon Ginneken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cosmin Neaga came free in the 46th minute and tried to tip the ball over Remco Baaijen, but to the joy of Oeienbraak's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marick Rogaars made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Oeienbraak's zone, Simon Kok stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remco Baaijen came out of the goal and Simon Kok tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th minute, Cosmin Neaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Ciao Bellas's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Borgman came free, but Brain van Rhijn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Oeienbraak's goalkeeper Remco Baaijen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marick Rogaars. Gert Borgman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain van Rhijn having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Oeienbraak's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Geerts came free, but Remco Baaijen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Marick Rogaars who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oeienbraak's Remco Baaijen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Ciao Bellas's Simon Kok got a free kick in the 80th minute. The supporters of Oeienbraak booed when Ciao Bellas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marick Rogaars didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marick Rogaars might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remco Baaijen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marick Rogaars ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd match minute, Ciao Bellas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Kok to maneuver through the defense. Marick Rogaars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Ciao Bellas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oeienbraak throughout the match.
