In the 3rd match minute, Andelst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Lindeman to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the game, Gerwin Oortwijn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Frederik Koops was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederik Koops made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriaan Vledder in the 9th minute of play. Ramon Ijsselhof's late challenge caught a Andelst's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Ijsselhof helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, V.V. Ephlex 16 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Ijsselhof to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes, Andelst's Thijs Saenen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elco Trenning came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andelst reached it. During the 18th minute of the match Pascal Lindeman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pascal Lindeman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Pascal Lindeman hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriaan Vledder in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederik Koops prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gerwin Oortwijn managed to get in a good position for a shot. V.V. Ephlex 16's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerwin Oortwijn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederik Koops breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elco Trenning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerjan van Beukering, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Adriaan Vledder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Frederik Koops, 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Gerjan van Beukering was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andelst's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave V.V. Ephlex 16 the free kick. Gerjan van Beukering kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Gerwin Oortwijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, V.V. Ephlex 16's Frederik Koops threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adriaan Vledder, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Gerwin Oortwijn came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the V.V. Ephlex 16 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerwin Oortwijn couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Andelst getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Donny Oosterhof hit a great ball. After 37th play minutes Adriaan Vledder shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Frederik Koops and just under the crossbar into goal. Henry Oosterbaan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Gerwin Oortwijn fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Frederik Koops, passed just outside the right post. Adriaan Vledder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frederik Koops read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Frederik Koops showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriaan Vledder, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Henry Oosterbaan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the V.V. Ephlex 16 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Oosterbaan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Andelst's Huib Vrede got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 59th minute, Gerwin Oortwijn made a precise shot to the right of Frederik Koops. Andelst's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Adriaan Vledder scored 5-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederik Koops, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerwin Oortwijn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Frederik Koops tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriaan Vledder might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederik Koops. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adriaan Vledder ran back to his position shaking his head. When V.V. Ephlex 16's Henry Oosterbaan in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Andelst's goalie prevented a goal. In the 74th minute, Adriaan Vledder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerwin Oortwijn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Koops having to interfere. Adriaan Vledder scored 6-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederik Koops, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the game, Adriaan Vledder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Frederik Koops was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerwin Oortwijn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Frederik Koops tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerwin Oortwijn took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederik Koops. Frederik Koops dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. V.V. Ephlex 16 had played much better football throughout.
