Stelian Păuceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zandschel VV's Dominik Wos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 10th minute when Dominik Wos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ivo Bartele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Wos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Zandschel VV's zone, Jasper Bruin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfried Eefting came out of the goal and Jasper Bruin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute, Dominik Wos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivo Bartele. The goal made the score 3-0. Marnix Themmen hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ASF Amersfoort's Marnix Themmen got a free kick in the 34th minute. A hard shot by Dominik Wos from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Ivo Bartele's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 43 played minutes ASF Amersfoort got a freekick which was hit by Otto Brandsma. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Păuceanu in the 54th minute of play forced ASF Amersfoort's goalkeeper Ivo Bartele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zandschel VV's Wilfried Eefting proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Zandschel VV from getting a goal against them. Ivo Bartele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Wos in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Zandschel VV booed when ASF Amersfoort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Bette didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th match minute, ASF Amersfoort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Rodenberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Douwe van den Berg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute Dominik Wos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Bartele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Dominik Wos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Zandschel VV's goalkeeper Wilfried Eefting, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jasper Bruin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfried Eefting having to interfere. Zandschel VV walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
