Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Max Crans made the kick off which started today's match. Max Crans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Maikel Fellinger managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Draaibrug's Jacobus Sans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Fc zwolle's goalkeeper Maikel Fellinger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacobus Sans. In the 26th minute, Fc zwolle's Jan Sybring seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jan Sybring the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fc zwolle protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jan Sybring had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jan Sybring hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Jhon Germs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Draaibrug's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jhon Germs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ramon Wielens fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc zwolle's protests and gave Ramon Wielens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Draaibrug booed when Fc zwolle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Wielens didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ramon Wielens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Filip Zuiverloon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Draaibrug getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Pieter-Jan Castelen hit a great ball. Ramon Wielens struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Theo de Zwart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc zwolle. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pieter-Jan Castelen got free with Maikel Fellinger in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th match minute, Draaibrug was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordy Veldman to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes, Fc zwolle's Marnix Severijnse shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Theo de Zwart came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc zwolle reached it. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filip Zuiverloon was the one to do the kick off. Maikel Fellinger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobus Sans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Filip Zuiverloon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Jan Hendrik Hoekstra in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fc zwolle's Carsten Oost. Filip Zuiverloon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 played minutes Draaibrug got a freekick which was hit by Jordy Veldman. Theo de Zwart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Zuiverloon in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Fc zwolle getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Brain Hoven hit a great ball. Jacobus Sans took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maikel Fellinger. Maikel Fellinger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Carsten Oost fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo de Zwart having to interfere. Filip Zuiverloon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Fc zwolle booed when Draaibrug was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Lamberts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carsten Oost was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Draaibrug's zone, Filip Zuiverloon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theo de Zwart came out of the goal and Filip Zuiverloon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carsten Oost received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Theo de Zwart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Draaibrug support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
