Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaap Kolkman kicked off to start the match. Huib Zuiverloon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ab Vaalman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 4th minute, Vincent Decheiver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Huib Zuiverloon in the 6th minute of play forced Katerveer's goalkeeper Ab Vaalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Filip Bogarde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Katerveer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Frisia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Katerveer's Filip Bogarde got a free kick in the 7th minute. Huib Zuiverloon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ab Vaalman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaap Kolkman in the 12th minute of play. After 13 minutes Katerveer's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dick Wijngaart who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaap Kolkman in the 19th minute of play forced Katerveer's goalkeeper Ab Vaalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Huib Zuiverloon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hans Lever during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Katerveer getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hans Lever hit a great ball. If Jaap Kolkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaap Kolkman in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ab Vaalman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ab Vaalman came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Frisia's Huib Zuiverloon. But to his dismay, Huib Zuiverloon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38thth minute of the game Jaap Kolkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katerveer's Ab Vaalman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Huib Zuiverloon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaap Kolkman scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ab Vaalman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Abbekerk was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Katerveer got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Abbekerk. When Sporting Frisia's Jaap Kolkman in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Katerveer's goalie prevented a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Huib Zuiverloon notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Katerveer's Ab Vaalman. Ab Vaalman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaap Kolkman in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ab Vaalman saved Katerveer from getting behind. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Katerveer:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Frisia:s goal. 0-7 came through a penalty shot after 73 played minutes, when Sporting Frisia:s Dick Wijngaart calmly waited for Katerveer:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Huib Zuiverloon got free with Ab Vaalman in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 minutes, Jaap Kolkman made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Katerveer's Ab Vaalman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Huib Zuiverloon succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. The audience was convinced that Jaap Kolkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ab Vaalman was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Huib Zuiverloon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ab Vaalman having to make a save. Jaap Kolkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sporting Frisia booed when Katerveer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordy Ax didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Katerveer getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vincent Decheiver hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, Frits Middel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Frisia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Katerveer the free kick. In the 96th minute, Frits Middel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Frisia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
