In the 5thth minute of the game Govert Tuhuteru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Uiteinde's Rob van Dartel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The long shot by Roger Peeters in the 8th minute really tested Rob van Dartel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 10 minutes into the game, Govert Tuhuteru recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rob van Dartel. Govert Tuhuteru showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A hard shot 14 in the game by Roy Overdiep from a close distance when the talented Rob van Dartel managed to make a qualified save. FC Uiteinde's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Govert Tuhuteru managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Bokkenrijders's supporters rose to their feet, but Govert Tuhuteru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rob van Dartel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steven Beuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonny Heuving, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sjoerd Hofkamp in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Steven Beuk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FC Uiteinde booed when De Bokkenrijders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo Sybering didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roy Overdiep could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Rob van Dartel made a huge save. Govert Tuhuteru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Govert Tuhuteru in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rob van Dartel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 played minutes FC Uiteinde got a freekick which was hit by Arjen van Zwam. After recieving a nice pass, De Bokkenrijders's Jurgen Hekman tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theo Sybering during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, De Bokkenrijders's Theo Sybering got a free kick in the 57th minute. Rob van Dartel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Govert Tuhuteru in the 60th minute of the match. Roy Overdiep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Rob van Dartel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Govert Tuhuteru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Uiteinde's goalkeeper Rob van Dartel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steven Beuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjoerd Hofkamp in the 70th minute of play. Roy Overdiep took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rob van Dartel. Rob van Dartel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After 81 minutes of play, De Bokkenrijders's Roy Overdiep made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rob van Dartel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Govert Tuhuteru came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the De Bokkenrijders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Govert Tuhuteru couldn't finish the play. Roger Zoetmulder's late challenge caught a De Bokkenrijders's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Zoetmulder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th match minute, FC Uiteinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Zoetmulder to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Roy Overdiep got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sjoerd Hofkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. De Bokkenrijders had played much better football throughout.
