Spectators: 6795 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 90) XAL£WE's Pierre Busch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denny van der Werff in the 6th minute of play. SVZ were furious when Jacobus Bakker was red carded, 7 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave XAL£WE a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albert Sándor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SVZ's Jan Harding. 1-0. The supporters of XAL£WE booed when SVZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarten Kromme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pierre Busch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny van der Werff in the 15th minute of play. Arnout de Zwaan hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Denny van der Werff who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XAL£WE's Pierre Busch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Joris Planting shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre Busch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yorrick Mans in the 22nd minute of play forced XAL£WE's goalkeeper Pierre Busch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Yorrick Mans put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Pierre Busch. Pierre Busch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny van der Werff, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Pierre Lindenbergh's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Harding firmly grabbed it by the left post. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Yorrick Mans sped through XAL£WE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pierre Busch. If Yorrick Mans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 40 played minutes Sjoerd Bruinsma rounded SVZ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. If Pierre Lindenbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Yorrick Mans to strike the kick off in the second half. Pierre Lindenbergh kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Pierre Busch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denny van der Werff in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, SVZ's Yorrick Mans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pierre Busch. Pierre Busch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Yorrick Mans was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 62nd minute, Arnout de Zwaan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The XAL£WE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After some careless play in the SVZ defense, Pierre Lindenbergh kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Harding. The SVZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Harding should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yorrick Mans got free with Pierre Busch in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout de Zwaan charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnout de Zwaan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, XAL£WE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnout de Zwaan to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Marcel Rinzema sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pierre Busch skillfully saved the ball. Pierre Busch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yorrick Mans in the 82nd minute. Pierre Busch was a little too slow when Denny van der Werff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 5-4. XAL£WE were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of SVZ for a fine match.
