In the 14th minute, Tim Stellwagen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, FC Arnhem's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Stellwagen came free, but Stef Lans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Stellwagen during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Strooistad getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tim Stellwagen hit a great ball. Peter Hofs kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a good free kick, Peter Hofs got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Strooistad. After 21 played minutes Strooistad got a freekick which was hit by Gerrit Hofland. Edwin Wiggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerrit Hofland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Stef Lans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Stellwagen in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Arnhem's goalkeeper Stef Lans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Tim Stellwagen made a precise shot to the right of Stef Lans. FC Arnhem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 40th minute Tim Stellwagen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stef Lans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Strooistad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Stellwagen to maneuver through the defense. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Stef Lans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertus Veninga in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Arnhem's goalkeeper Stef Lans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Strooistad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edwin Wiggers to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Hofs in the 67th minute of play forced Strooistad's goalkeeper Jelte Staal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Strooistad got a freekick which was hit by Edwin Wiggers. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Peter Hofs managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Arnhem's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Hofs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jelte Staal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henk Hartlief could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Stef Lans made a huge save. 82 minutes into the game, Gilbert Karremans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Arnhem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Strooistad the free kick. Gilbert Karremans kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Strooistad's Gerrit Hofland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stef Lans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerrit Hofland in the 94th minute of play forced FC Arnhem's goalkeeper Stef Lans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Edwin Wiggers took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Stef Lans to make any attempt to save it. Strooistad's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
