Bulgarijasport's Folker Bunt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bulgarijasport from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Bulgarijasport's zone, Bjorn Oss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folker Bunt came out of the goal and Bjorn Oss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Foeke Zaagman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folker Bunt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emile Oss in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bjorn Oss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folker Bunt was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 33 played minutes Hoonte got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Alberts. If Jacques Pals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Foeke Zaagman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Folker Bunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Foeke Zaagman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoonte's supporters rose to their feet, but Foeke Zaagman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folker Bunt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute Bjorn Oss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folker Bunt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Bulgarijasport's goal looked a bit too open when Bjorn Oss came free, but Folker Bunt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastiaan Dowie's late challenge caught a Bulgarijasport's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastiaan Dowie helped the player get up and apologised. Sebastiaan Dowie kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Roel Bosma received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fred van Zijderveld came out and tried to block the shot, but Roel Bosma slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 85th minute. Bjorn Oss recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Bjorn Oss's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folker Bunt was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. If Jacques Pals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hoonte were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
