Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frits Ritsma in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marick Bronkhorst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Marco Kloppenburg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wijnjewoude's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Kloppenburg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marick Bronkhorst had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Jan Rein Hartlief's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 98 minutes Jan Rein Hartlief managed to get himself in a good position for a goal as Wijnjewoude's supporters held their thumbs. Jan Rein Hartlief was, after a quick turn, in perfect balance and slotted the ball in at the right post. The score was now 0-5. When the final whistle sounded Wijnjewoude left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Houston Astros.
