Spyros Naskos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Panter's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. If Gilbert Hoffhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudolf Meindert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johan Snijders having to make a save. 16 minutes into the match, CASEYS DREAMTEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Floris Landzaat came free, but Spyros Naskos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vincent Verweijen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Spyros Naskos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbert Hoffhuis went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Herbert Roodenburg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Johan Snijders made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Teo Janssen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Johan Snijders, 1-1. In the 31st minute Rudolf Meindert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Snijders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Gilbert Hoffhuis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teo Janssen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Johan Snijders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spyros Naskos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Panter's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Gilbert Hoffhuis kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilbert Hoffhuis was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniël Sturkenboom during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. CASEYS DREAMTEAM's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
