SNIPPE FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ergeNekon the free kick. After a rather tough play, SNIPPE FC's Karsten van Ankeren got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Elbert van Boxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Freek Huisman made a huge save. Twan Severijnse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jan-Willem Mulders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes, SNIPPE FC's Dirk Willems shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Willem Mulders came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SNIPPE FC reached it. After 17 played minutes, SNIPPE FC's Bennie Sluis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Willem Mulders came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SNIPPE FC reached it. Jan-Willem Mulders showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martien Idema in the 22nd minute of the match. Karsten van Ankeren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan-Willem Mulders having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Twan Severijnse in the 30th minute of play forced ergeNekon's goalkeeper Jan-Willem Mulders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, SNIPPE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten van Ankeren to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SNIPPE FC booed when ergeNekon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Cardinaal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dirk Willems might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan-Willem Mulders. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dirk Willems ran back to his position shaking his head. Jan-Willem Mulders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martien Idema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Twan Severijnse made the kick off in the second half. Ted de Jong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ergeNekon's Jan-Willem Mulders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save ergeNekon from getting a goal against them. Martien Idema in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan-Willem Mulders, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 66 minutes into the match, SNIPPE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Raatjes came free, but Freek Huisman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Twan Severijnse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Willem Mulders saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Raatjes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freek Huisman having to make a save. ergeNekon's Lennart Raatjes got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leon Hemmen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ted de Jong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Freek Huisman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freek Huisman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Raatjes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Lennart Raatjes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martien Idema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jan-Willem Mulders tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ergeNekon's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
