Donny Zwinkels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Spaan in the 16th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Zonnedael FC's Harmen Kloppenburg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remco de Jong made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Harmen Kloppenburg hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Zonnedael FC's attentive Oscar van der Werff managed to snatch the ball when Hans Akkerboom made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. If Jeffrey Peppinck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacob Spaan got free with Donny Zwinkels in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Pieter-Jan de Winter made the kick off in the second half. Donny Zwinkels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Akkerboom, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Donny Zwinkels came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by BerryAFCA's Jacob Spaan. But to his dismay, Jacob Spaan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind BerryAFCA's goalkeeper Remco de Jong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Chris Blanker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cees Deiman made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zonnedael FC's Harmen Kloppenburg. Zonnedael FC's Gert Roetering managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Chris Blanker in the 78 minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Hans Akkerboom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zonnedael FC's Donny Zwinkels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacob Spaan in the 90th minute of play.
