Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Coos Pilage started the match with the kick off. Carsten Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Koning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Coos Pilage came free, but Carsten Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coos Pilage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Roeles having to interfere. The supporters of jorditesse booed when Olympic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folker Borgman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Jeffrey Roordink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeffrey Roordink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Coos Pilage came free, but Carsten Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Coos Pilage had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Koning might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carsten Roeles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evert Koning ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Coos Pilage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carsten Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Coos Pilage in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carsten Roeles saved Olympic from getting behind. 38 minutes into the match, Olympic's goal looked a bit too open when Coos Pilage came free, but Carsten Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evert Koning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Roeles having to interfere. The jorditesse fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when jorditesse's Coos Pilage looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jeffrey Roordink was the one to do the kick off. Marcel Koerts kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Evert Koning came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the jorditesse fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Koning couldn't finish the play. Carsten Roeles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coos Pilage in the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Coos Pilage in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carsten Roeles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Coos Pilage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Koning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Carsten Roeles made a huge save. Carsten Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coos Pilage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Coos Pilage in the 62nd minute of play forced Olympic's goalkeeper Carsten Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Martin Schmidt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Schmidt charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Schmidt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Martin Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Koning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten Roeles having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 77 minutes into the game, when Folker Borgman put in a rough tackle. In the 77th minute, one of Olympic:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Olympic. Carsten Roeles had in the 79thth minute some difficulties stopping Bernard Berendt's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 0-3 came in the 79th minute when Bernard Berendt all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Carsten Roeles. With a little luck, Olympic's Carsten Roeles got control of the ball when Ab Teesing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olympic's Carsten Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Coos Pilage in the 85th minute of play. Twan Poelman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Bob Kruit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, jorditesse's Coos Pilage dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The jorditesse supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing jorditesse would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
