Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Peter Sligter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elco Ridder in the 4th minute. In the 6th minute, Ger Höhenstein fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Peter Sligter, passed just outside the right post. Menno Vonk kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Olof Korevaar came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Wise United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Korevaar couldn't finish the play. After 14 played minutes Driehuis got a freekick which was hit by Henny Joppets. Elco Ridder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Peter Sligter made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Driehuis's Stefano Ritsma seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stefano Ritsma the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Driehuis protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stefano Ritsma had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 21st minute, one of Driehuis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Driehuis. Driehuis:s Henry Reinhard showed great skill when he stopped Casper Woering:s penalty. After having played for 30 minutes, Jan-Willem Grol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wise United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Willem Grol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Wise United FC booed when Driehuis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Koning didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Olof Korevaar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wise United FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Driehuis the free kick. In the 37th minute, Olof Korevaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan-Willem Grol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th minute Jan-Willem Grol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Reinhard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Kees Theuws made a great header on Driehuis's corner, it was just that Wise United FC's Peter Sligter managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Elco Ridder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Sligter was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Richard Dost hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Driehuis's Elco Ridder got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Driehuis's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Korevaar came free, but Henry Reinhard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Jan-Willem Grol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wise United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Willem Grol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Reinhard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Reinhard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Korevaar in the 77th minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 81st minute, but Henry Reinhard got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Driehuis hanging dry this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elco Ridder in the 84th minute of play forced Wise United FC's goalkeeper Peter Sligter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Reinhard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Willem Grol in the 87th minute. Elco Ridder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denny Korsma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peter Sligter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Richard Dost hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wise United FC's zone, Elco Ridder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Sligter came out of the goal and Elco Ridder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denny Korsma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Sligter having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elco Ridder in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Sligter prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
