Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jasper Daniels started the match with the kick off. Joeri Sybring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Boswijk having to interfere. Roland Boswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joeri Sybring in the 10th minute of play. Pascall Barels's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Boswijk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Jasper Daniels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marc de Hoop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pascall Barels had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Erenstein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd match minute, Cocksdorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wim de Graaf to maneuver through the defense. Marc de Hoop was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adriaan Degens. 43 minutes into the match, Fokshol S.V.'s Joeri Sybring sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Boswijk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joeri Sybring in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Boswijk saved Cocksdorp from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joeri Sybring to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Cocksdorp's goal looked a bit too open when Joeri Sybring came free, but Roland Boswijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascall Barels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Boswijk having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joeri Sybring in the 60th minute of play forced Cocksdorp's goalkeeper Roland Boswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joeri Sybring was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Stef de Hondt came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Cocksdorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stef de Hondt couldn't finish the play. Joeri Sybring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Boswijk having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Cocksdorp got a freekick which was hit by Jordi Kimman. Pascall Barels came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roland Boswijk could save by the left post. Roland Boswijk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joeri Sybring's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. With a little luck, Cocksdorp's Roland Boswijk got control of the ball when Pascall Barels tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pascall Barels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephan Ruben's late challenge caught a Fokshol S.V.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stephan Ruben helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Cocksdorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Ruben to maneuver through the defense. Joeri Sybring fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Boswijk having to interfere. Fokshol S.V.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
