Broeksittard's Adriaan Jongsma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klaas Jan Broekema in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Broeksittard getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Peter Piening hit a great ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Luc Konterman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandela Voetbal Federatie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Broeksittard the free kick. Adriaan Jongsma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Jan Broekema, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Klaas Jan Broekema made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Broeksittard's Adriaan Jongsma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mandela Voetbal Federatie's Allard Heijen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Mandela Voetbal Federatie from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Broeksittard's Berry Dol got a free kick in the 41st minute. Mandela Voetbal Federatie's Luc Konterman got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Broeksittard's Henk-Jan Eschendaal got a free kick in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luc Konterman made a kick off. In the 61st minute, Luc Konterman made a precise shot to the right of Adriaan Jongsma. Broeksittard's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Klaas Jan Broekema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. When Klaas Jan Broekema came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Mandela Voetbal Federatie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaas Jan Broekema couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Broeksittard's zone, Luc Konterman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriaan Jongsma came out of the goal and Luc Konterman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriaan Jongsma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luc Konterman's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Bernard Meulman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Adriaan Jongsma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luc Konterman in the 93rd minute of play forced Broeksittard's goalkeeper Adriaan Jongsma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Broeksittard getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dick Deuring hit a great ball. Robert Brunt kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
