Sven Mussies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucien Bogarde having to interfere. Aad Schaars kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes, DE VINKEN's Johan Drenth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lucien Bogarde came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DE VINKEN reached it. Carel Westerhof hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Lucien Bogarde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Mussies, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Leendert Hadders's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laurens Overmars was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. A very good chance. Leendert Hadders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laurens Overmars having to interfere. With a little luck, DE VINKEN's Laurens Overmars got control of the ball when Leendert Hadders tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carel Westerhof hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match.
