Eric Maasland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Schmidt in the 10th minute of the match. Leon Lyle's late challenge caught a Weite RKSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Lyle helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Weite RKSV booed when Django United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Lyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Weite RKSV's Harmen Robben got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 22 minutes, Vincent Kuypers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weite RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vincent Kuypers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Django United FC's goalkeeper Theo Schuttrup, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Theo Schuttrup stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vincent Kuypers's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Weite RKSV's goalkeeper Eric Maasland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Friebel. Django United FC's Jacob Schmidt got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Robbie Zenden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Vincent Kuypers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weite RKSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Vincent Kuypers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Schuttrup breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jacob Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Maasland having to interfere. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Abraham Friebel sped through Weite RKSV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eric Maasland. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Schmidt made a kick off. Gerben Heesen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Theo Schuttrup skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gerben Heesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Schuttrup having to interfere. Theo Schuttrup made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Gerben Heesen sent off a good shot on target. Vincent Kuypers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Theo Schuttrup tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Vincent Kuypers took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Theo Schuttrup to make any attempt to save it. Eric Maasland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Schmidt in the 69th minute of play. Vincent Kuypers struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Theo Schuttrup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weite RKSV. Gerben Heesen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Maasland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacob Schmidt in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Django United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerben Heesen came free, but Theo Schuttrup reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jacob Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Django United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Maasland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 88 minutes into the match, Django United FC's goalkeeper Theo Schuttrup had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerben Heesen. Django United FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
