Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elbert Dijken made the kick off which started today's match. Gert Sibon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Elbert Dijken left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BlaatSchaap fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 18th match minute, Asrın United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert Sibon to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boudewijn Sibon in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martien Jochemsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jelmer Zenden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Dennis Clarijs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BlaatSchaap's zone, Gert Sibon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Clarijs came out of the goal and Gert Sibon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jelmer Zenden received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dennis Clarijs came out and tried to block the shot, but Jelmer Zenden slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. Boudewijn Sibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 34 played minutes BlaatSchaap got a freekick which was hit by Twan Severijnse. In the 35th minute, Maurice Kromkamp sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BlaatSchaap's Dennis Clarijs didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Gert Sibon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dennis Clarijs was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After having played for 39 minutes, Luc van den Akker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asrın United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luc van den Akker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in BlaatSchaap's zone, Jelmer Zenden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Clarijs came out of the goal and Jelmer Zenden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Folkert van der Werff came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Asrın United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Folkert van der Werff couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folkert van der Werff was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Folkert van der Werff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Clarijs was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 55 minutes, Johan Harding mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asrın United and the BlaatSchaap players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of BlaatSchaap booed when Asrın United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Harding didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gert Timmermans fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BlaatSchaap's protests and gave Gert Timmermans a yellow card for diving instead. Gert Timmermans kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Elbert Dijken struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Martien Jochemsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BlaatSchaap.
