Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frans Eggens in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacob Heide prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 54th minute, Frans Eggens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elroy van Zijderveld hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Carsten van Zeist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Heide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jaap Bekker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dick Kooij had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. One of Meerveld:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Kamperland:s goal.
