Ger Zwiers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ger Zwiers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jordi Rijaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordi Rijaard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ger Zwiers in the 15th minute. Ger Zwiers blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jordi Rijaard having to make a save. The supporters of Meerveld booed when Overschie HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meindert Mans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Wagemakers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Floris Buskermolen in the 30th minute of the match. Ger Zwiers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jordi Rijaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jordi Rijaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govert Hauvers, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Overschie HC's Chris van Gastel got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience held their breath when Carsten van Zeist in the 43rd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jim Wagemakers's left hand side.

After 55 minutes, Ger Zwiers made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Meerveld's Jordi Rijaard tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Overschie HC's Jim Wagemakers got control of the ball when Frans Eggens tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th minute, Fabiën Zethof hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Govert Hauvers struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. When Govert Hauvers came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Overschie HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Govert Hauvers couldn't finish the play. When Ger Zwiers, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jordi Rijaard was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Meerveld's Danny Smibum got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Chris van Gastel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jordi Rijaard skillfully saved the ball. Jordi Rijaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Govert Hauvers, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Overschie HC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
