Spectators: 5200 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Derk Neijsen took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hengvorden RKSV's Henk Baaijen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonny Zuid in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Hengvorden RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Ponk came free, but Henk Baaijen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tonny Zuid struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Henk Baaijen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebeck VV. Tonny Zuid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Derk Neijsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Jan Hartlief having to interfere. Gert Jan Hartlief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derk Neijsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Derk Neijsen took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gert Jan Hartlief to make any attempt to save it. 22 minutes into the game, Stephan Dirks was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hengvorden RKSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trebeck VV the free kick. After 22 played minutes Hengvorden RKSV got a freekick which was hit by Stephan Dirks. Jan Doren made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hengvorden RKSV's Klaas Thomasse. Klaas Fens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th match minute, Trebeck VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gert van der Bij to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Derk Neijsen in the 35th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Derk Neijsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 39 minutes, Klaas Fens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hengvorden RKSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaas Fens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Trebeck VV's Gert Jan Hartlief got control of the ball when Derk Neijsen tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stephan Dirks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gert Jan Hartlief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Derk Neijsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Hengvorden RKSV booed when Trebeck VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tonny Zuid didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 68th minute, Klaas Fens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derk Neijsen struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gert Jan Hartlief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hengvorden RKSV. After some careless play in the Trebeck VV defense, Derk Neijsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gert Jan Hartlief. The Trebeck VV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gert Jan Hartlief should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derk Neijsen in the 75th minute of play forced Trebeck VV's goalkeeper Gert Jan Hartlief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hengvorden RKSV's Derk Neijsen in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Trebeck VV's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute Derk Neijsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Jan Hartlief saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Trebeck VV got a freekick which was hit by Hans de Rooy. Derk Neijsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gert Jan Hartlief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gert Jan Hartlief took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klaas Fens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gert Jan Hartlief made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaas Fens in the 88th minute of play. Tonny Zuid hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Tonny Zuid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
