Spectators: 7513 (Terracing: 5635, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramon de Putter took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wilco Spijkerman came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Westenholte's Gilbert Fens. But to his dismay, Gilbert Fens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilbert Fens in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilco Spijkerman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilbert Fens's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Wilco Spijkerman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wilco Spijkerman was a little too slow when Gilbert Fens got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. Wilco Spijkerman made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Gilbert Fens sent off a good shot on target. Gilbert Fens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Billy Tinselboer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Gilbert Fens sped through SC Varsseveld's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilco Spijkerman. Anthony Hilberts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Maksymilian Borkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilbert Fens to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, SC Varsseveld's Jens Cohen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes, Gilbert Fens made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Varsseveld's Wilco Spijkerman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Varsseveld's Wilco Spijkerman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douwe van Nieuwstadt in the 61st minute of play. Fernando van Amersfoort lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Westenholte's Maikel Pilage was substituted for Jordi Gulpen. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 77th minute of the game. One of Westenholte:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Varsseveld:s goal. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for SC Varsseveld. Ruben Robben stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maksymilian Borkowski. 5-1. If Billy Tinselboer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute, Anthony Hilberts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, SC Varsseveld's Anthony Hilberts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maksymilian Borkowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. There was no doubt that Westenholte were the better team. Westenholte's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
