The audience was convinced that Rafal Rudnyak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Walery Dresik came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walery Dresik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafal Rudnyak in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 20th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walery Dresik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored Brygada RR's protests and gave Tymoteusz Witek a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Hungary booed when Brygada RR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tymoteusz Witek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Brygada RR had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
