Spectators: 7507 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) RKSV ROGIER's Menno Zuiverloon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Sidney Cordeiro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lennart Bruin 4 minutes into the match. Henny Ooijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menno Zuiverloon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Cordeiro got free with Lennart Bruin in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sidney Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ateş Togay came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the F.C. Zwarte Piet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ateş Togay couldn't finish the play. Sidney Cordeiro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Lennart Bruin 23 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Ateş Togay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidney Cordeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lennart Bruin. That made the score 3-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind RKSV ROGIER's goalkeeper Lennart Bruin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hendrik-Jan Overmars fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RKSV ROGIER's protests and gave Hendrik-Jan Overmars a yellow card for diving instead. With his leg Lennart Bruin managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when F.C. Zwarte Piet's Sidney Cordeiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Ateş Togay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Ateş Togay fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Zwarte Piet's protests and gave Ateş Togay a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, F.C. Zwarte Piet's Ateş Togay got a free kick in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sidney Cordeiro made a kick off. RKSV ROGIER's Lennart Bruin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Cordeiro in the 56th minute of play. Henny Ooijer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Menno Zuiverloon in the 59th minute of play. F.C. Zwarte Piet's attentive Edgar Bruintjes managed to snatch the ball when Nico-Jan Koerts made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Lennart Bruin came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Zwarte Piet's Sidney Cordeiro. But to his dismay, Sidney Cordeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Ateş Togay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Sidney Cordeiro sped through RKSV ROGIER's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lennart Bruin. After 85 minutes, Mike Robbermond mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RKSV ROGIER and the F.C. Zwarte Piet players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 played minutes RKSV ROGIER got a freekick which was hit by Mike Robbermond. Ateş Togay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Bruin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Lennart Bruin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Cordeiro in the 91st minute of the match. Arne Collen made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sjef Pluym. Sidney Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. F.C. Zwarte Piet's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
