With a little luck, Medel's Jelte Meijer got control of the ball when Ismael Hames tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jelte Meijer made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ismael Hames sent off a good shot on target. Gerrie Kleefstra kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Arnout Hof mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Medel and the ELPresidente players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the Medel defense, Jan Hendrik Daverveld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jelte Meijer. The Medel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jelte Meijer should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ismael Hames in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jelte Meijer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gijsbert Baalen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinant Latten in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Haas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Ismael Hames had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jelte Meijer. Medel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Hames was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 56th minute, Robbie van der Schans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Herbert Haas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Jan Hendrik Daverveld managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ELPresidente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Hendrik Daverveld was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Gerben van Fessum was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Medel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ELPresidente the free kick. If Ismael Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelte Meijer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Hames went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute of the match, Ferdinant Latten got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gijsbert Baalen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Prospero Menendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelte Meijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Hames in the 80th minute of the match. Medel's Jelte Meijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Menendez in the 82nd minute of play. If Ismael Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Gerrie Kleefstra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gijsbert Baalen. ELPresidente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerrie Kleefstra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. There was no doubt that ELPresidente were the better team. ELPresidente's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
