Bruggenmors S.C.'s Bram Ijspol couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Kilimanjaro. With an all-out effort, Bruggenmors S.C.'s Roland Baars threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Buckinx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Waesbergen in the 20th minute of play forced Bruggenmors S.C.'s goalkeeper Marinus Bruintjes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Kevin Buckinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Roland Baars was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marinus Bruintjes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theo Waesbergen went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jan-Willem Westerhof's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marinus Bruintjes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Kevin Buckinx recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roland Baars. Kevin Buckinx showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Kevin Buckinx struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Roland Baars didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruggenmors S.C.. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Theo Waesbergen was the one to do the kick off. Jan-Willem Westerhof struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Marinus Bruintjes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Kilimanjaro. Marinus Bruintjes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Waesbergen in the 55th minute of the match. Bruggenmors S.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Theo Waesbergen scored to the left of an out of position Marinus Bruintjes, making the score, 3-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Theo Sterenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruggenmors S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Theo Sterenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Baars breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Arie Holt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carsten van Basten hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the game, Kevin Buckinx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2.
