The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Westerhoeve Eendracht's Dolf Schut got control of the ball when Felice Nazzari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dolf Schut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Newton, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Newton in the 16th minute of play forced Westerhoeve Eendracht's goalkeeper Dolf Schut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Felice Nazzari took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dolf Schut to make any attempt to save it. Dolf Schut made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felice Nazzari in the 24th minute. Seeryp V.V.'s attack was well implemented in the 26th minute, but when Isaac Newton was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Isaac Newton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Seeryp V.V. fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Seeryp V.V.'s Isaac Newton looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 42 minutes into the game, Billy Ginneken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westerhoeve Eendracht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seeryp V.V. the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Felice Nazzari managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seeryp V.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Felice Nazzari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dolf Schut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Werner Ronde made the kick off in the second half. Dolf Schut stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felice Nazzari's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Dolf Schut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Newton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Isaac Newton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dolf Schut was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 57th match minute, Westerhoeve Eendracht was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andre Middel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Westerhoeve Eendracht's zone, Isaac Newton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dolf Schut came out of the goal and Isaac Newton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 61 minutes into the game, Isaac Newton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Dolf Schut was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Isaac Newton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dolf Schut was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Dolf Schut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Newton in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isaac Newton in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dolf Schut prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaac Newton in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dolf Schut saved Westerhoeve Eendracht from getting behind. After 77 minutes, Isaac Newton made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Westerhoeve Eendracht's Dolf Schut tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Frederik Dalmeijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 played minutes Westerhoeve Eendracht got a freekick which was hit by Billy Ginneken. After a rather tough play, Westerhoeve Eendracht's Billy Ginneken got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Seeryp V.V. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
