Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Emile Germs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Oostbeemster booed when AC Lithium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Boshuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Jens Klein took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marco Zilverberg to make any attempt to save it. In the 14th minute, Gijsbert Bosschaart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute, Richard Boshuis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Oostbeemster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond van Aalderen to maneuver through the defense. Marco Zilverberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marco Zilverberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens Klein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert Bosschaart's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Zilverberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A collision led to Oostbeemster getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Raymond Meulman hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Marco Pronk sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oostbeemster's Reinier Neeskens didn't even have to move. In the 59th minute, Richard Boshuis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Gijsbert Bosschaart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st match minute, AC Lithium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daan Wijkstra to maneuver through the defense. After 71 played minutes, Oostbeemster's Mart Bok shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marco Zilverberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emile Germs in the 75th minute of play forced Oostbeemster's goalkeeper Reinier Neeskens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Oostbeemster got a freekick which was hit by Raymond van Aalderen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert Bosschaart in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Zilverberg saved AC Lithium from getting behind. Jens Klein hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Emile Germs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
