Marcus ter Averst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralph Hoekstra, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Marcus ter Averst stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ralph Hoekstra's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Michel Collen hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kwadendanne's Marcus ter Averst got control of the ball when Robin de Zaaijer tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Robin de Zaaijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Kwadendanne's goalkeeper Marcus ter Averst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin de Zaaijer. Robin de Zaaijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Marcus ter Averst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes in the game, Ralph Hoekstra fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcus ter Averst having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robert Berendt made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kwadendanne's goal looked a bit too open when Robin de Zaaijer came free, but Marcus ter Averst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ralph Hoekstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robin de Zaaijer in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus ter Averst saved Kwadendanne from getting behind. Robin de Zaaijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus ter Averst having to interfere. Marcus ter Averst took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Hoekstra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Peins's Robin de Zaaijer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus ter Averst made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Peins booed when Kwadendanne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans van Dalen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Kwadendanne's goal looked a bit too open when Robin de Zaaijer came free, but Marcus ter Averst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ralph Hoekstra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Robin de Zaaijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peins's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin de Zaaijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus ter Averst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus ter Averst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Hoekstra in the 82nd minute of play. Kwadendanne's Marcus ter Averst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Hoekstra in the 84th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Kwadendanne's goal looked a bit too open when Robin de Zaaijer came free, but Marcus ter Averst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peins's Yorrick Aerts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Berendt in the 96th minute of play. Although Peins had been in control for most of the match, Kwadendanne still came away with the win.
