With his leg Jens Bessing managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Gemelli FC's Richard Wibier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Richard Wibier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens Bessing was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Jens Bessing was a little too slow when Melvin Zegers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. If Melvin Zegers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Forza Zwolle's Jens Bessing got control of the ball when Richard Wibier tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 played minutes Forza Zwolle got a freekick which was hit by Menno Timmermans. A collision led to Forza Zwolle getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bas van Olst hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Forza Zwolle's goalkeeper Jens Bessing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Wibier. Domenik Hendriks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Bessing having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Melvin Zegers dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens Bessing, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Roelofsen in the 45th minute of play forced Forza Zwolle's goalkeeper Jens Bessing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Bas van Olst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Govert Heuvel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem van Halst in the 55th minute of play. Jan Lindenbergh hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Richard Wibier sped through Forza Zwolle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens Bessing. After a rather tough play, Gemelli FC's Melvin Zegers got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Willem van Halst tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Govert Heuvel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Gemelli FC's Govert Heuvel got control of the ball when Bas van Olst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melvin Zegers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Roelofsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens Bessing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Wibier in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Bessing prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jens Bessing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Roelofsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Richard Wibier sped through Forza Zwolle's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jens Bessing. Bas van Olst could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Govert Heuvel made a huge save. Richard Wibier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jens Bessing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
