Henk Denneboom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Roelofsen having to interfere. Stephan van Fessum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renneberg's Casper Roelofsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Renneberg from getting a goal against them. Riemer Molnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan van Fessum in the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd match minute, Wanneperveen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fokke Haken to maneuver through the defense. Stephan van Fessum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riemer Molnar having to interfere. Riemer Molnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stephan van Fessum in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wanneperveen's zone, Stephan van Fessum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Riemer Molnar came out of the goal and Stephan van Fessum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Casper Roelofsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henk Denneboom received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casper Roelofsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Henk Denneboom slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Jacco Koerts struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Casper Roelofsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wanneperveen. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stephan van Fessum to make the kick off. Casper Roelofsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jacco Koerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fokke Haken fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wanneperveen's protests and gave Fokke Haken a yellow card for diving instead. Fokke Haken kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. David Pinksteren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Riemer Molnar made a huge save. When Florian Gronden fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Renneberg's protests and gave Florian Gronden a yellow card for diving instead. Florian Gronden hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Jacco Koerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
