Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Abraham Lucius made the kick off and thus started the match. The audience was convinced that Abraham Lucius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ferdi Roswinkel was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Ferdi Roswinkel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Lucius in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Malden's goalkeeper Hette Scheepstra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dolf Aerts. A collision led to Malden getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Nico-Jan Wilhelm hit a great ball. After 16 played minutes Tuitjehorn got a freekick which was hit by Sipke Brinks. 18 minutes into the match, Wesley Roswinkel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hette Scheepstra, 1-0. In the 29th minute, Nico-Jan Wilhelm made a precise shot to the right of Ferdi Roswinkel. Tuitjehorn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 33 played minutes Tuitjehorn got a freekick which was hit by Sipke Brinks. Jacques Lindenbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacques Lindenbergh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hette Scheepstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sipke Brinks in the 45th minute of play. Hette Scheepstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Roswinkel in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Wesley Roswinkel made the kick off in the second half. Hette Scheepstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolf Aerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Oliver Veentjer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hette Scheepstra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nico-Jan Wilhelm hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Abraham Lucius struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Ferdi Roswinkel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malden. Malden's Herman Broerse got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abraham Lucius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdi Roswinkel having to interfere. After 77 minutes, Nico-Jan Wilhelm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malden and the Tuitjehorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nico-Jan Wilhelm hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Malden's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 83rd minute of the game, when Kurt Siemers after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Tuitjehorn's goal. Kurt Siemers was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Jacques Lindenbergh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malden's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacques Lindenbergh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferdi Roswinkel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tuitjehorn's Sipke Brinks got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a little luck, Tuitjehorn's Ferdi Roswinkel got control of the ball when Abraham Lucius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Malden were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tuitjehorn to leave the ground with a draw.
