Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bram Mols started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, Tonnie Zevenhuizen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Laskwerd HC and the Housden S.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tonnie Zevenhuizen hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Evert Huizing in the 5th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Stef van Zijp's left hand side. Harm Pierewaaijer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bram Mols, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 11 played minutes Housden S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Domenik van Zalen. If Bram Mols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Housden S.V.'s goalkeeper Harm Pierewaaijer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rudolf Blind hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Auke Schalkwijk, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Housden S.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Bram Mols came free, but Harm Pierewaaijer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennie Lindenbergh's late challenge caught a Laskwerd HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bennie Lindenbergh helped the player get up and apologised. Bennie Lindenbergh kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Bram Mols might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harm Pierewaaijer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bram Mols ran back to his position shaking his head. Harm Pierewaaijer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Job Mussies in the 35th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 53rd match minute, Laskwerd HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordy Lubbers to maneuver through the defense. Arne van der Bij sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Job Mussies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harm Pierewaaijer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Job Mussies went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Stef van Zijp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dries Senden, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Stef van Zijp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dries Senden in the 80th minute of play. Joost Veenhuis charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joost Veenhuis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Joost Veenhuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Laskwerd HC's goal looked a bit too open when Dries Senden came free, but Stef van Zijp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harm Pierewaaijer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bram Mols's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. When Job Mussies came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Laskwerd HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Job Mussies couldn't finish the play. Harm Pierewaaijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Job Mussies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Laskwerd HC had won after a very even match.
