Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stijn Akkerman started the match with the kick off. Jacques Rekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marick Rodenboog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Nabbegat S.C.'s Jacques Rekers got control of the ball when Jordi Heijer tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Meister Boys booed when Nabbegat S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathieu Terpstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacques Rekers made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Jordi Heijer sent off a good shot on target. Geert Arend Schuurman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stijn Akkerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meister Boys's attentive Pim Weken managed to snatch the ball when Meindert Knuppel made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Mathieu Terpstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Mathieu Terpstra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geert Arend Schuurman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stijn Akkerman in the 23rd minute of play forced Meister Boys's goalkeeper Geert Arend Schuurman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geert Arend Schuurman came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Nabbegat S.C.'s Filip Oss. But to his dismay, Filip Oss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stijn Akkerman in the 30th minute of play forced Meister Boys's goalkeeper Geert Arend Schuurman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Meister Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo de Visser to maneuver through the defense. Nabbegat S.C.'s Jacques Rekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Nabbegat S.C. from getting a goal against them. Stijn Akkerman scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Geert Arend Schuurman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emiel Pilage's late challenge caught a Nabbegat S.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emiel Pilage helped the player get up and apologised. A well-hit corner resulted in Adriaan Wisgerhof heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jordi Heijer to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacques Rekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo de Visser in the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marick Rodenboog in the 63rd minute of play forced Nabbegat S.C.'s goalkeeper Jacques Rekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Nabbegat S.C.'s Stijn Akkerman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Meister Boys's Geert Arend Schuurman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Meister Boys from getting a goal against them. Stijn Akkerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Geert Arend Schuurman made a huge save. The supporters of Meister Boys booed when Nabbegat S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Meindert Knuppel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Theo de Visser made a precise shot to the right of Jacques Rekers. Nabbegat S.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 81st minute of the match Frederik Lensen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacques Rekers skillfully saved the ball. Stijn Akkerman kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Emiel Pilage lost his temper 84 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After having played for 86 minutes, Ferdinant Gerseke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nabbegat S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinant Gerseke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stijn Akkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Nabbegat S.C.'s Stijn Akkerman got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Stijn Akkerman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. Stijn Akkerman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Richard Steelman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nabbegat S.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Steelman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geert Arend Schuurman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nabbegat S.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
