The supporters of Great Fc booed when All Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corné Dekker didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in All Stars's zone, Leon Schaap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Hateboer came out of the goal and Leon Schaap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Menno Iemberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Alfred Wilson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Hateboer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Hateboer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Schaap's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Peter Hateboer came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Great Fc's Menno Iemberge. But to his dismay, Menno Iemberge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Leon Schaap left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Great Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Leon Schaap came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Great Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Schaap couldn't finish the play. Erik Schreuder struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Gido de Jaeger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All Stars. When Great Fc's Leon Schaap in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye All Stars's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Schaap in the 28th minute of play forced All Stars's goalkeeper Peter Hateboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Leon Schaap's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Hateboer was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Peter Hateboer came out of the goal and Menno Iemberge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Schaap to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match, Wim Pepping got a very nice opportunity to score, but Peter Hateboer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Great Fc's Leon Schaap got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Menno Iemberge struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Peter Hateboer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Billy Lokin. With a little luck, All Stars's Peter Hateboer got control of the ball when Leon Schaap tried to sneak it across the goal line. Menno Iemberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Menno van Steensel during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Menno van Steensel kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, All Stars's Erik Schreuder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gido de Jaeger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Schaap in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Hateboer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Derk Hebels left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The All Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 83rd minute, Leon Schaap reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Hateboer. The goal made the score 2-4. All Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Schreuder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Great Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gert Jan Brürs came free, but Gido de Jaeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Great Fc played a much better game than All Stars and deserved their victory. The All Stars players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
